Special assignments / initiatives

Types of assignment
One of the exciting things about academic life is the broad array of options for faculty members.  A common dilemma for new faculty members is deciding which of the many activities to engage in, a wonderful problem to need to solve. Many new initiatives require the expertise of faculty members, fellowships abound, projects need faculty support, and the only limit is the imagination.
